Selby North Yorkshire

These HDR images are of Selby in North Yorkshire. It's a lovely market town with a lot of history. The River Ouse runs through the middle of the town on it's way to York. It was used by the Vikings on many occasions when they raided and invaded. There is a museum in York which is devoted to the Vikings and has some great exhibits.
Selby Abbey dates back to the 11th Century it is truly a wonderful building.
