Colourful Wings

The colours in the Natural World are diverse and wonderful. Many animals have striking colours like the Dragonfly above and the birds you have seen in my posts and fellow bloggers. However I learned something new today from my son who is an Entomologist at Illinois Natural History Survey. Follow the link to see a plethora of wonderful colours from a source that may surprise you and fill you with wonder.

I looked at the wasp, unbeleiveable colors and we never knew it was there. God sure knew what he was doing when he created all these most wonderful things. your photo is beautiful, and thanks for the amazing trip into wasp land. I am terrified of wasp so have never really looked at one up close, i run screaming in the house.
