The Last Flying Vulcan

This is the last flying Avro Vulcan. Based at Robin Hood Airport near Doncaster, I am fortunate to work near where this fantastic aircraft leaves and returns to after performing at air shows. Believe it or not these aircraft were first delivered to the RAF in 1956. Hard to believe really as it does not look dated at all. The noise it generates at take off can only be described as a growl, but believe me it is a sight to behold. I am not a aircraft spotter but have to admit the Avro Vulcan is well worth watching when it takes to the sky.
