Hi and thanks for visiting my blog. This is my first post so I thought I would give you a run down on what I am trying to achieve here. I would like all who visit to get involved with comments and thoughts as well as asking questions of a photographic nature. I intend to post interesting features that I have read or seen that people may be interested in. As well as ideas and photographs that I have taken myself, I would like honest appraisals of my own work and would urge people to comment and add any links or books etc.. That others may find useful and interesting. I want this blog to create a photography community for young and old where we can exchange our knowledge and expertise to help every level of photography skills.
This blog needs your contributions to please have your say, we are all friends here and together we can move forward and capture our world.
My only restriction is that all links to images from this blog must be of a suitable nature, as their may be young people viewing this blog.
Now the introductions are over I would like to draw your attention to a photography competition that everyone can enter.
www.photoradar.com/home
There are several categories that you can enter Adrenaline Travel Creative Licence Portfolio New! Joy Documentary Landscapes Portraits Wildlife Britain Inspired Fashion
All you have to do is register and it's free to enter.
The image you see above is one of the images I have entered in the wildlife section. I have entered others so take a look vote and comment kheadsbtinternetcom I look forward to your thoughts. Have a look at the photoradar website and have a go, who know you might win. This competition is run by Digital Camera Magazine and their site has great stories and tips so is well worth a look.

Thank you for commenting on my blog. Good luck with your blog. If you do link to me, I have a photo blog here. I'm very much a novice photographer with a point and shoot camera. One day I hope to be able to upgrade to an SLR and do a photography course.
Hi Kev,
Thanks for visiting. I like this idea. I love seeing other peoples pics, and I'm always looking for advice and help!So here's your first Q
I have a screw on polarising filter on my fave lens and I can't get it off! Any ideas?
Now I must go learn how to work links and become your follower!

Bonjour Kev, thanks for stopping by at my blog. What a great idea to do a blog aimed at people like me who are basically clueless, but would still like to produce some nice pics... If you click on the "my photos" under categories, you'll find the ones I've shot... Anyway, hope your blog goes well, I'll be back to check :-) Love from London x PS: I like that snail pic...being French and all that ;-)
