Remember Polaroids?
Here is a fun photoshop effect. How many of us can remember the polaroid camera? The first instant photo experience. Look at us now with our digital cameras and desktop printers, how things have changed. This is a great photoshop effect that can be used with any image although it is particularly good for groups of people. To do this using photoshop takes some knowledge of layers as the effect has to be built up layer upon layer, however with practice you too can master this effect too. It is a rather long winded tutorial which will take me an age to post with accompanying photos. However if there is enough people that would like to know how this is done then I will endeavour to post it and make it as easy to follow as possible. Let me know via your comments.

that is a very cool effect.
Very fun project! Looks too complicated - I'll just enjoy looking at yours! LOL
I like it ...
I remember the Polaroids and am so glad they are gone, all the photos i took of my children are now faded until i can hardly see them. the boys are 43 and 46. the photos using film are still clear. i loved that camera, but love digital more. this would be something good for people who like to scrap book.
Cool effect and since you are becoming my source for digital effects... yes, s'il te plait.
The effect is very nice
Ah yes, I had a Polaroid for a short time - lots of fun seeing "instant" photos, but as Danra noted the images tend to fade over time, unlike film photos. Looks like a fun effect, but not one I would use. You do have fun with photoshop and so nice of you to share with us!
Very cool. I'm interested!
UFO ha ha hha ha love it. my friends parents are from the UK and when they come they are sun seekers, now i know WHY
