Hello folks I know I have not been around recently but things have been pretty hectic since Christmas. Today was the first time my camera has been out of my bag and she was feeling very neglected. I went to the local woods for a walk and although I had been told that there was deer in there I had never seen one until today. It is not a particularly good image, but believe me when I tell you she was very well hidden.
I did try to get a bit closer but as you can imagine big foot sent here scurrying along with another that was near by. Now I know their in there I will try and get some better shots next time.

I think this is a lovely image. Love all the muted winter tones, and the peace of the scene. I know what you mean about being busy since Christmas. Me, too!

Enjoyed scrolling though your blog. I started following since finding you via Mersad Donko's recommendation.
Love the tutorials too.
Welcome back. I hope you don't neglect that camera for so long again. Beautiful dear and I love that look on her face.
Hi Kev,
I used a 10 stops B+W ND110 (1000x)filter and a cheap ND Grad I bought off Ebay on my bleeding sky shot at 1 min exposure.
Btw Kev, I just got hold of my Sigma 10-20mm and I need your advice about distortion on the image, do I have to correct it or its natural and becomes part of the photo?
This photo is not corrected and
this one is, i just dont know the norm. need your input please.
Thanks in advance Kev.
Best regards,
Dave
